Platform module

Copy Trading

Replicate a provider's trading signal across follower accounts. Part of the platform's core domain: brokers, providers and investors read the same records through it.

  • Signal capture from master accounts
  • Volume and risk-based position sizing
  • Per-subscription copy settings
  • Copy execution audit trail

How it works

How Copy Trading works on the platform

Stage 1

A copy engine turns provider signals into per-follower instructions.

Stage 2

Each instruction is built from the subscription's copy profile, so lot sizing and risk responses can differ per account without changing the signal.

Stage 3

The engine records the copy decision, so what was copied and why is always reviewable.

Placement

Where copy trading sits

Where this module acts in the platform's one-domain model, and which other modules it depends on.

  • Captures orders and position changes from a provider master account.
  • Applies per-subscription copy and risk settings before anything is routed.
  • Feeds the execution adapters, which translate the instruction for the venue.

Shares a model with

  • Strategy Marketplace — the review and discovery surface.
  • Risk Management — every copy decision passes its rules.
  • Analytics — standardised disclosure of the same records.

Questions

About Copy Trading

Can copy settings differ per investor?

Yes. Lot sizing, volume limits and closed-position responses are configured per subscription, because the same signal is sized differently for different accounts.

Is a copy decision traceable?

Each replication carries metadata linking it to the provider's signal, the copy profile and the rule evaluations that allowed it.
